Bought a DVD-C621 player from office Depot but they sent the 00008A remote, not the one that was supposed to come with it.
While I have been able to get the remote to control a Toshiba TV, it can't control the DVD!
Any suggestions on how to get the 00008A to "program" to use the Samsung DVD-C621? If it helps, Samsung sends the 00008A with the DVD-V3500 and V3650 models (perhaps others, too).

If it doesn't work with your model, it doesn't work with it. You can't reprogram oem remotes.

I am sorry to hear of your remote control headaches. I have one myself and you can actually cure it! I bought a Samsung v3500 dvd as a floor model - without the remote. No universals work it! But you mistakenly have the remote that worls my unit - the 00008A! Would you like to sell it to help subsidize the cost of your own proper remote?
