I sat on my remote and it must have punched a key or something because now my vcr (which is set up for cable) says "SAFE" and none of the buttons work on it (or the remote). Does anyone know what to do?
Both vcr and remote are GE.

Try holding down the power button on the remote while pointing it at the vcr.
