Interesting piece of equipment. Will comment on a separate thread. I noticed my RC9800i USB connection is unrecognizable with Windows XP Home. I was able to upgrade the Firmware to the latest ver., but no joy accessing the internet through the port because of this problem. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

when you plug in the RC9800i to your PC, nothing will happen, until you go to navigation screens: settings - services setup - software updates - usb update. It will then ask you to start the .exe that you download from Philips.

I know it sounds a little strange and I never saw any documentation that tells you exactly what to do. Make sure you update this way in order not to loose your settings. (If you update firmare though pressing page up/down during the philips startup screen, you will loose all your settings)
