I'm helping a friend get his 9800i working and I'm
wondering if anyone has had any luck with discrete
input codes on a Samsung hl-r5078w television.

After checking the Samsung code sets individually and
using the match function, code set 0812 seems to be the
most complete.

Unfortunately, there are no discrete input codes for the
comp2, HDMI, or DVI. There is a listing for them, but no
functionality.

Also, the s-video discrete is listed in the code set and works,
but it doesn't show up as a choice when setting up the activity
of watching his Tivo.

I've got it working using the "round the horn" source button
scenario, but I'd really like to have the discrete code to keep
things in sync.

Is there a better code set hiding in there that I missed?

Or, are there any moderately priced One-4-All or Radio Shack
remotes that I could use to teach the 9800i a thing or two?
