Anyone aware of the RC9800I firmware thats being used at these new Citizen M hotels where every room has this remote to control everything from the shower light to mood lighting, which the standard firmware seems to be lacking.

Looks like there is still some development going on in the background with these remotes....

FWIW: It was determined early on that this remote had a lot of open source components (and some closed also). If you had access to all the source code it would be possible to do a lot with this remote. I believe there were some key pieces of closed source and kind of a lack of interest that kept it from getting hacked/opened. With the initial price tag, it just wasn't worth it.
