Has anyone ever had success loading a browser (web) on to the 9800i? I need to control a media center with a device that browses the web or VNC and control the rest of my system with IR

OK, OK, so I know all of the failings of this remote. But I really cannot find anything that has all of its features for <$500 so I feel I have to consider it. Any other remotes that do what I am looking for would be welcome if you want to make suggestions. As my name sugggests - I am new to this whole thing.

Thanks..S

I doubt you will ever be successful getting a web browser on this remote unless someone reverse engineers it and hacks the firmware. In fact, there's not even a browser on the TSU9600 but it does support Javascript and socket programming if you desire. I know it's not < $500USD but the TSU9400 is coming along and will support the same programmability.
