I just openned my new remote.
I upgraded the firmware.
I keep getting a phillips screen with a spinning circle and anytime I touch the corner screen marks I go back to a philips screen with the spinning circle.
What should I do ? Is there a different firmware than that on the website?
Is there an older version?
Please help.
Thanks.

Russell,

I would recommend that you contact Phillips. You can call them at 1-888-744-5477

Or you can send them an email by following this link and clicking on send an email.

[Link: p4c.philips.com]

Also while on that page there are links to other support documents that may help you.

That is helpful but the confusion in terms of service support from the website and on line has not been.
Service support tells me they are repairing the new unit, which is unacceptable to me. Email support tells me they should not repair the units, but should replace them.
I have no idea what will happen but I have sent in to the service center in Kentucky.
The confusion on their end is disconcerting, to say the least.

Well - the saga continues.
I got the unit back from Philips support and it was the same unit, not a replacement.
When I turned it on all i got was a phillips screen with an endlessly spinning circle. I gave it at least 5 minutes.
I am now shipping it to Belgium where they tell me they will replace it.
Including purchase I have now shipped this unit 3 times and have never been able to use it!
