I've chosen a 3000 because it has more hard buttons than other models. But I can't find a way of programming the left and right of the four buttons below the screen. The two middle ones are accessible, but those aren't.

The left I can understand, as it has the tools menu on it; but the right I can't.

Any way round this for either of the two buttons?

As posted in this forum several times, this is a bug in the PENG software and should be fixed in a future update of the software.(for the right button anyway)

And for the left button as well. Since the programmer, us, can program the TOOLS button anywhere on the remote. Not too sure if this can be done from the remote directly, but it can be from the software.

This may have been answered in the past, but can I do anything with the far right/left hard buttons on the actual remote now? Or do I have to wait until they fix PENG. If it is PENG, has anyone looked into editing the XML file to resolve the problem?

Just curious,

Wayne

Do you mean that you can NOT do anything with the left and right hard buttons?

Well it's either PENG or the remote, or both.

Since the people who have the remote can't do anything with them. I say it's on both the remote and PENG.

However, there is a fix coming out. Dont know when though..
