tsu7500 was working great for many many years, tweaked configuration and downloaded. Now the screen is erratic mostly white with a few horizontal lines. buttons still work but can't see anything, is there any fix or repair. is this the end of pronto, if so does anyone know of new remote that's just as good or better. Thanks

You can try taking it apart and reseating the cable between the screen and motherboard. If not, you can find TSU7500 on ebay usually quite regularly and for decent prices.

The Pro series (TSU9600) has 640x480 screen if you choose to go that way. But, as you know, Philips has discontinued Pronto.

I prefer the 9600 over the 9400. I had a 9400 but traded it to a friend.

9400 felt to top-heavy meaning if held it in hand, felt like would fall forward. 9400 also does not play sounds, only beeps.

But it does have the metal scroll wheel.

If I had my pick based on form factor, it would be a 9300. However, 9300 does not do ProntoScript. But I love the form factor. If you want no scripting, check ebay as I saw 2 up the other day and almost bought them.
