Hi all
Just picked up an RU980 in great condition.
My config file works perfectly however the screens viewing angle seems to wash out quite a lot unless you are looking directly down at the remote
eg: if you point it in front of you the quality of the image on the screen becomes less clear & whiter.
Just wondered if it might have a bit of a problem or whether that's just as good as the screens were in 2006.
Had an ru950 before and never really noticed anything like this.
Any opinions more than welcome
Cheers

The wash-out on B&W remotes is more prevalent than on color ones. But it has been a very long time since I saw a TSU3000.
I powered up my old RC5000i this past weekend and could not believe what I used to think acceptable.

I have an old RU980 and the colour screen is very good and visible from most angles so happy with it i have tracked down a new old stock one in a box and hopefully will have that by the end of the week. My first one years ago was a black and white and that one would wash out very quickly but this colour 980 version is i find very good indeed.
