Hi,
I just got the Yamaha RX-v575 receiver and I am looking for all the codes. Does anyone have the codes for this receiver? I still have my TSU 7000/37 and I still love it and want to use it.

Yamaha receivers pretty much use all the same NEC codeset. You can download a CCF for the RX-V800/900 or the 1000 from the classic pronto files section. There is one out there that has extended codes. Note that you might not have all the new sound modes covered but this will give you a good starting point.

Just remember you have to do: File->Import CCF...

Here's the complete set of IR codes for the 575.  These need to be converted to Pronto Hex.  Take the IR code listed in the Yamaha PDF files, and substitute a space for the hyphen, and enter that into the Yamaha Pront Hex converter.

For example HDMI1 (main zone) is shown as 7A-4738.  Enter 7A 4738 into the converter.  If you don't include the space or put it in the wrong position, the converted Pronto Hex will be incorrect.

Thank you 3FG,
I've done this before but it's been a long time. My next big thing is to figure out how to get a working Windows XP to install Pronto Edit to. I have Virtualbox and Windows XP installed but I can't get it to recognize the Pronto.

Do I need to enter the ID1 or ID 2 code into the converter? Both? I am in the same boat as the thread starter. I have a pronto that controls everything except my new Yamaha.
