Hi all

I have a pronto pro NG (RU980)

I also have some 433 RF sockets. I've just bought a powermid in the hopes that it can convert the RF into IR and then I can learn the IR with pronto and send it out as RF.

it's not working.

the powermid is sending IR when I press the socket remote, so it's receiving the RF. Pronto learns the IR, but then when I play back the IR as RF from the pronto it doesn't work.

is there some magic I should be doing or am I SOL?

PS I have a pronto extender if that helps.

What make are the RF Sockets you have because if they are HomeEasy there is a program to generate the codes here!

[Link: automatedhome.co.uk]

Don't forget to turn on the RF in the device on your Pronto too and ensure it is set to 0-0 on the dials

You might find codes from that will work with your sockets even if they are not HomeEasy
