Hello All. I wanted to set up all my devices on this one remote. Unfortunately most of the PCF I have found are not for my device or there aren't any for most of my devices. I wanted to do this:

[Link: pioneerfaq.info]

How can I enter this hex code into the remote?

I also have a Loewe Aconda, an LG BX580 Blu-ray, a B&O Beosound Century/2000, and a Denon AVR-3805.

The reason I bought this remote was because it's one of the few that has the IR for B&O equipment and I thought I could program the codes for the BDP-51FD easily on it, but this thing is so complicated. I have no idea how to set it up and reading the instructions on the site seems puzzling.

I have updated the firmware and installed Wizz.it 9. Someone please help!

Why not find a CCF file that matches your receiver, import it to create a PCF, then merge the codes from that PCF?

With regard to the PAL/Region hack...

Create a new button. Then create a new IR code. Learn a dummy code if you like. Then, in the editor window, remove all the stuff you just learned and paste the hex code from the Pioneer PDF in there. When you hit OK, ti should take the code. Question is, did it shorten it to a 9000 series or 900A series code (code starts with these number and not the 0000 raw format).

BTW, there should be a comprehensive set of help if you press F1 from the editor.

I always used the TSU7000 and not the 9500 but Wizz.it and ProntoEditProNG are very similar.

It won't recognize the CCF file for some reason when I tried to import it... Maybe I am doing something wrong but I just tried opening it with Wizz.it 9

In regards to the other thing it keeps the number raw and I tried creating a button for it with that code but it does nothing. Must be something I am doing wrong.

So confusing for me :-(

Are you using a File->Import menu?

And is what you think a CCF really a zip file you downloaded from here that contains a CCF?

I tried the File Import Menu and it works for some CCF files but most of what I found for the Remote which is the RC 969 are complete PCF files for the Pronto NG and for some reason they won't open. It says it's not recognized...

As far as CCFs go I can't seem to find one for my remote at all...

PCF files are not cross-compatible between Pronto and Marantz without some tweaking.

You need PCFSwitcher.
