Well, and I thought all pcf's were created equal...

Bought a s/h SBC RU990 and wanted to upload my pcf previously created for the TSU7000/7500.
But PENG won't let me...
See pic.
Question: how do I save-as-SBC RU990 file?
Found no option in PENG...

"You are trying to download a TSU7500 device pcf to a RU990 device.
Please save the file as a RU990".

Managed to convert my TSU to SBC by cut/paste although the default page (system) had lost the links and jumps...
On second thought, I probably didn't have to work this hard: the "comments" should probably be changed to fix.

Hi Barend,

When you are in PPENG open your TSU7500 file as normal. Then click on the menu "File" - "Save Configuration As" then look in the pop-up that opens, you will see at the very bottom "Save as type" if you click the drop-down list, you should see the various choices of TSU7000, TSU7500, RU980 and RU990. Choose RU990 and you should then have an RU990 file.

Hope that assists

Hello Stoobie,

In my PENG 2.1.8 there is no popup under save as, just the Windows file save dialogue.

However, I could've saved myself a lot of thinking bvy visiting the Files area, where the mighty Daniel Tonks placed a useful utility:

Hi

I am very surprised at that because I specifically downloaded 2.1.8 to get the information to tell you :o)

I used the switcher program when moving from my RU990 to my RC9500

When you choose File->Save Configuration... notice the drop down under the file name that is labelled 'Save as type.'.
