Looking all over for this software, for testing RF from my TSU7000.
Could Dave Houston or some other kind soul please mail it to me > radio_man@usa.net.
Or point me to a working DL url.
Can't find it ANYWHERE on the web...
It's NOT EAL codegen.exe - that's a different proggie which does not work for my Elro sockets, nor my Conrad's.
I have the Intertechno RF codes, but I'm done with these units: switching is unreliable even from the supplied remote: they onlt switch when you hold the remote within 1M, plus there's no metal near, plus there's no other socket within 1M...plus...arrggh...

OK, there's probably not a soul still interested in this, but I found hex commands that seem to work on the Elro's (as still widely available in Germany, for instance from Amazon, and used to be from a Dutch druggist chain etc.)
It's the one with five good old DIP switches on the supplied handset, and ten on the back of the socket. It is 4-way.
Dunno yet whether "close relatives" of the Elro sockets hate each other or show spurious behavior as did the Intertechno's, but I'll give them a go on my power (4 pcs 4x200W) Linn amplifiers...
For the equivalent of A1 on the Intertechno the Elro socket should be
set as follows: all switches OFF except E. (the ultimate right hand one).

Got a handly little converter proggie now how to set the DIPs for all other codes.
The following are Intertechno codes, they do work on the Elro if you set the DIP's right, and make the Pronto blast for some secs.
And oh, they're for European Pronto's, modified TSU or straight SBC RU.
I've set the DEVICE in PENG to A1.

Sorry to say, the performance just isn't good enough: after a few metres distance it's hit and miss.
I think it's the Pronto (TSU7000-433.92MHz) that's to blame, because I have a few different Philips RF-to-IR blasters I played with in the past and they showed the same behavior.
You had to tweak the antenna position of the blaster (who wants that in sight...?) to have at best an erratic reception.

I have an SBC RU990 (=TSU7500 EUR) coming, have a faint hope that it will perform better than the converted TSU7000.
And just maybe they soaped up RF on the newer TSU7500...

Pipe dreams - or as the French say Chateux en Espagne...?

@Lyndel

Lyndel, could you please have a look at these two codes- do you see anything out of the ordinary?
Thanks!

One day, Dave decided he no longer wanted CodeGen out there, so he took it down. He also claimed personal ownership of any and all codes actually generated by it, and demanded that any files with such codes be removed from the web.
