ServiceWideTech.com is no help.

I’m trying to find a replacement button sheet for a PHILIPS PRONTO PRO TSU7000 remote control. It would be nice to swap out the case too.

I think the button sheet is the: 310420420682 EL FOIL WHT

I found these but not sure what they all are:
Part NumberDescription
310420051192 AC ADAPTOR
310420780672 BACKLITE CTL
310420051271 BATTERY
310420780582 BOTTOMPART
310420715341 CBA MAIN
310420714831 CBA SERV CONN
310420052152 CBL USN
310420780621 DOCKING PLUG
310420780591 DOOR BATTE
310420714811 DS7000 DOCK STATION
310420420682 EL FOIL WHT
242208611101 FUS 750MA 125V
310420419481 IR WNDW
310420780681 KEYMAT ASM
936030524112 LCD ASM
310420780604 LCD BEZEL ASM
310420420662 LCD SUPT PLT
310420780611 LOWER KEY HINGE
310420780661 R SIDE KEY H
310420780561 TOP SUB ASM

Found the above here for those that want to take a look:

Seems to be down at the moment. :(

That is correct part number.

Your best bet is to buy a 7000 off ebay and swap as you also want the keymat asm

Thanks so much. I’d like to know what all the parts are if you have any idea. Like what is the keymat and why would I need that too? I’ve taken the TSU7000 apart a few times to clean it and I’ve seen the button sheet or Foil and it look like one simple piece.

I’d like to replace the button for the paint wear. Would they be the LOWER KEY HINGE (hard buttons at the bottom of the LCD), R SIDE KEY H (hard button at the right of the LCD) and the KEYMAT ASM (arrow pad at the bottom of the remote)?

I just wish I could find the service manual.

Everything works it just that some of the buttons don’t click anymore and the paint is warn a bit on some.

I’ve been looking at some on eBay but only as a back up if this one should give up the ghost or be dropped and end up with a broken LCD.

You likely need Lower Key Hinge, Right Side Key Hinge, Keymat assembly (4 way cursor I suspect) and the EL unit.

Personally, if in the states, call up www.servicewidetech.com and see if they have parts and can repair/replace.

I searched this site and found many of the parts you mention and they are available.

I'm just guessing at what the key hinge parts are. You?

They will not sell parts! When asked about why they just said it again and told me not to ask again. Well, they will but you have to pay $100 or so to have them put them in, be without the remote for a few weeks and hope it comes back in the same shape as when you sent it. It’s very easy to disassemble and replace the parts. I know they just want to get that $100 out of people but why not charge $45 for the $15 foil? I think almost everyone in need of a part here would order from them but almost no one will send in a remote to them unless they have no other option.

Yes, I linked your other thread/post as you seem to want to have this discussion on 2 different threads.

Wow, I don’t see that at all. I saw that thread latter and mine is rather specific. I just let them know what I had found and asked them about the fix they applied. Still don’t know what that is. Gee whiz. Thanks???
