Please help! I have had a Pronto Pro RU980 for a few years and despite a few minor issues, it has been working well. I recently upgraded the firmware to version 3.8.17. (I hope I have downloaded the correct upgrade for my Pronto???). I now get this problem:

I create a custom button and learn a custom IR code into it. When I test it via the Pronto Edit software (Test IR) it works. At this stage the Pronto is connected to my laptop via USB cable. I then download/upload the new configuration to the Pronto successfully. I unplug the Pronto from the laptop and try the button out. Now it would not work. I have tried to learn the IR code directly onto the Pronto (without editing software) but it gives the same problem. Any ideas?

PS Where can I find the previous firmware version?

Previous firmware is in the files section.

Before downgrading, experiment with the IR Code 'Duration' setting and try something like 0.3s. Since you did not specify what type of equipment the code was for, I'm sort of at a disadvantage to make any further recommendations.

Have tried what you suggested and tried downgrading but it did not solve it. Codes that have been programmed long ago still works fine. It seems as if the new codes do not get transferred to the Pronto or there is something wrong with the Pronto. Thinking of sending the Pronto for repairs. Any other ideas?

Did you change the duration of the code like Lyndel told you? I´m quite shure this is the problem.
