i am having the same problem. its driving me nuts. i installed onto a new laptop running vista and thought it was that but came across this little tidbit. Lyndell....hi....or anyone help me with this.

Can you save/load/simulate on your previous system? If so, then you likely do not have a corrupt config file as was the cause in the thread you reference above.

lyndel, after researching more, i think this may be the problem....

i tried it on my old system using XP and it isn't the configuration. i looked it up and im using MSXML5.dll i think that i should be using 4.dll maybe. how do i open a command prompt to change it in vista and i'm kinda confused on the directions you gave.

when i first load ppeng onto the laptop everything works until i start using it, then all of the problems start.
