can anyone tell me what are the differences between a red colored icon and a non colored icon when you start to use the prontoproedit software. I am seeing this on the left side wondow. Thanks.

I believe you are referring to devices that are hidden (red).

can you elaborate? i downloaded some of the share files here and when i open these files using the pronto software, it has a lot of functions that i do not required and am not able to understand what the significants of the colored versus non-colored as i am thinking of deleting some of them. Thanks.

This Pronto guide is really worth it. If you want to be able to program the remote yourself, it is a must have.
