Hi there,
Newbie ... Is there a risk to skip 5 upgrades, as I intend to upgrade my RU980 from firmware 3.4.16 directly to latest one 3.8.17 ... ? In other words, is there a specific procedure to follow ...? Thanks a lot for your help and advice

No. You should upgrade directly to the latest firmware. Also, make sure you are using the latest version of the editor.
