I am installing a phillips pronto NG for a client with a Pioneer DV-868 But having problems reading the codes into the remote, The codes seem to read in ok and when I use the test feature with the remote connected to the PC the codes operate ok, as soon as I download to the device the codes seem to lose their operation. Can anyone supply me with the discrete codes for this dvd that will work

Go here and enter an email address (no spam sent from Pioneer) [Link: pioneerelectronics.com]It looks like the DV-868 is similar to the U.S. model DV-59AVi. There is a ccf and maybe a pcf on the Pronto page that you can use.

peter, I don't know what happened to that link. It's not working for me now. I think they moved some pages around. Go to pioneerelectronics.com and click the Support tab at the top. That should take you to a page with a Custom Install link on the right side with a photo of a remote and cables. Click the photo and you are there. Again the DV-59 has very similar features and functions.
