I recently got around to purchasing a ds3000 for myself and much to my chagrin it doesnt seem to charge the battery. When I place the remote in the cradle it beeps and powers up but the 2 led's never illuminate. I left the remote in the charger for atleast 2 hours with no success of it powering up away from the charger. I have come to the conclusion that the battery/charger is defective or something internal on the pronto is the culprit. Is there any way to interpret this without having to send the docking station back, cross my fingers and hope that the new one fixes the problem? Id rather know now that I need to purchase a new remote before I go through the hassle of going through the return process! Thanks!
