Had my 7000 for about 3 weeks now, bought the ultimate programming guide and dug through that for a while. At this point I have all the remotes coded in and working, I even got the X-10 stuff up and running and Media Room Domination is now within sight ;)

Now I need to starting making friendly device pages for each of the units, but before I start that I want to lay down a simple inteface that I could build upon (so everything is consistent with the hard buttons and interface). I was thinking of modding the system page with the default layout so each page would just pick that up, but can I replace the Tools icon with something else and still have it do the same thing?, also the pages counter? (or tab if you will), it's the one area that I have not seen a lot of detail on.

Thanks for any help...

Cheers

Thanks that helped, I got all the stock images changed over to new ones, I also found that you can edit the .XML file and change image types for system images as well (including their transparency setting). I did notice some other things I'll have to post on later when I get this up and rolling...

One thing I didn't find was how to change the color of the clocks text, it's probably in the .XML file somewhere, I'll have to go looking today for it...

Cheers

Locate for "TIMESTATUS" and change "TextColor"/"BGColor".
The values are Red, Green and Blue.
