You mean make a macro?

Double click on the button in pe, and just add an alais to the action list.

But what are you talking about toggle for?

On my X10 lighting page I want individual buttons to perform either an off command or an on command ie toggle between the 2 commands. So far it looks like I can do it by creating individual identical pages for each button and have the button perform an "on" command in one page and jump back to the other page. That page would send the "off " command and jump back to the other page. A bit cumbersom given the number of pages involved ...but it works. Just looking for an easier approach.

Oh ok I understand now.
I had to do that with my fan. Since the oem remote had a lcd that displayed the status of the fan.

I use and Ocelot to do what you are asking. This device programs with the PC and uses the if, or, then, and commands to control you X10 equipment. It can also send out Ir commands based on what your X10 lighting does. Turn on your DVD and go into a Movie lighting mode for example. The Ocelot keeps track of each x10 light and can tell you if it is on or off. If interested go to the X10 section and do a search on Ocelot.

Thx for the advice. "If/then" logic capability would do the trick. I presently use a Smartlinc controller and Plato software to control my x10 system in the house. Unfortunately it does not offer "if/then" logic qualifiers. I'll look into the Ocelot.

Joe - be aware that according to Daniel, "conditional macro" support is planned for a future release of the 3000's software. This doesn't help you in the short term, but you should be aware of it.

Ocelots look like *very* nice devices, though, and may well be worth buying on their own. :-)
