Do you have the docking stations or the RF adapters in stock now also?

Yes, they are in stock and can ship today. I guess
to some degree your choice may also depend on
whether or not you wish to support Remote Central
or keep the cash for yourself:-)

I just ordered mine with the dock...

I'm anxious to hear other people's experiences with their 3000's. I've had nothing but bad luck getting IR codes to work properly with this first one I've been programming. Direct learning into the remote rendered 95% of my ir codes useless. Several attempts learning ir codes through the software improved the success rate but still left about 2/3 not working. And btw, NO, RF is not enabled.

It may be a defective remote, the software may be bugged. I'll be working to resolve this problem all weekend. If anyone else runs into this, please make a post. I have some other 3000's here I can test to verify it's not a specific hardware problem. Good luck guys.

Have you taken the tricks in the faqs into account?

When you learn the codes, do you press and hold the oem's button until the pronto beeps and says ok?

King,

Yes, ir is a consistant stream until the remote fully learns the correct code. I've been doing prontos well over 3 years now and have never had this kind of trouble. There is definitely a problem of one form or another.

Try dimming the lights in the room. This suggestion came from the from Neo forum and it solved several peoples problems with direct learning from the remote.

I would be surprised if anyone had the dock in stock. I just met with two representatives of Philips at a product training. They said the dock would be available in March. On a side note, they said the I-Pronto will be out the end of February.

You have to purchase the dock separately.
