Is it me or is the fact that you can't hide panels any more a big problem?
I've typically setup a hidden panel for each device that holds the raw codes and the buttons on the user panles are aliased ( or linked I guess now) to the buttons on the hidden panels. Now you can go directly to any panel for a device by using the page overview icon.
I thought I had got around this by disabling the page overview icon, but now I find that the page up and page down hard buttons on the left of the 3000 page through the screens and I can't find a way to reprogram or disable them.
It looks to me like I will have to move all the hidden panels to a device that is hidden, but then I will have to re-link all my buttons to the new panels. What a pain!

As far as I can tell, you're absolutely correct in your analysis - you need to use hidden devices.
As for relinking, ideally you do that before importing your CCF into PENG, since you can move the panels into hidden devices inside Tonto without breaking the links. This way, there's no need to relink the panels.
Hopefully we will eventually have a way to remap the up/down buttons to other purposes, since not everyone will want this functionality available.
