Just got remote last nite, while going thru the database to make remote work with my compononts,i find that the database does not control most of the features ,it only does some basic features,ie volume channel, etc. do i have to teach the 3000 everything, (ie switching imputs on tv)or am i missing something. The manual shows learning from remote but only a button or action but not all features.

Yes, the database is lacking but I guess that is also why it is called a learning remote. You should be able to put a button on your screen and learn any buttons IR code from your remote to that button. You also have the advantage of learning discrete codes that may not even be on your remote. The only trouble with discretes is you have to find them. Remote Centrals file section on the Pronto has a large section on discrete codes. Archer

Thats ok with me ,but it does seem like a pain in the behind and a lot of work just to get the stock remotes working with the tsu3000,i would have thought that would have been an advance set up and not a basic remote transfer.
