Greetins I had the original pronto TSU1000 which finally broke after 4 years of great service. I recently bought a TSU3000 and have been working on my nex configuration. Befor I had a macro assigned to a button which had a serperate bitmap for a pressed state. It used to show the pressed state bitmap until the macro was finished on my old pronto. The new TSU3000 only shows it for a brief second and then continues with the macro which can be a good 2-3 seconds more.

Any way to change this and get it back to the way the original pronto was? I liked that.

It only shows pressed state while it is being pressed. The transmision icon (in system area) operates until macro has finished.

Another bug as far as I'm concerned. I spent hours and hours creating pressed state buttons - mostly before the remote was out - and you can only see them for a brief second. It sucks. Oh well. They look better than that stupid complete invert that the new firmware added.

It *should* be changed to work as on the original Pronto, since it doesn't make much sense the way it is now.

just add a screen for every button in a pressed state and jump to the appropriate screen when the button is pressed ;)

On a related note...
The TSU9600 does show the pressed state of a button the entire time its action list is being executed. I was very pleased to see this to say the least as I always wanted this feature with my Pronto NG remotes.

Why not just add a "Progressing..." Page with Jump Back after the macro has finished?

Many do what you've suggested, including adding a series of loading pages for much longer macros. For shorter macros of which there could be an endless number in a given configuration file it's not really suitable to do this however. Having the pressed state show while the action list is being executed is a nice built-in feature to have. While it's nice to see this feature reintroduced with the Pronto Professional line it would certainly be nice to see the Pronto NG line receive the same treatment.

Well, I personally don't use progressing pages yet, as my macros are rather short, yet.
But I could imagine just using a blank page with the text "Progressing..." and a sandclock on it.
This serves the same, and I think for people rarely/for the first time using your pronto it's the definitive better way, as they can't acces any other buttons and don't wonder why they don't work.
