Does anyone use Pronto or RC2000 on Bang & Olufsen equipment?
I have heard that B&O use a two-way IR link between appliance and remote making this communication protocol difficult to use on programmable remotes :-(
Any clues anyone?

In response to "Bang & Olufsen controlled by Pronto or RC2000" by Per Hassel on 03/11/98 12:16:10: I went into a store that sold B&O products and a salesman quicly programmed some codes on the Sony AV2000 and for those signals it did work. The IR link is used to control non B&O products from the B&O AV7000, but that is only if you are going to try to use the B&O remote as your universal remote. Use the original remotes to send the learning codes.
I would go back to the store you bought your B&O and have them demostrate the pronto, marantz, or sony remotes, then purchase the remote that works best at a cheaper place.
