is there a template under the DVD source for the up, down, left, right, and enter menu controls? preferably something that looks like the configuration on a DVD player remote with the enter button in the center, thanks for the info

Sure is! I use it as "Page 2" on the DVD Device.
Page 1 has the regular controls.. play, pause,
speed search, stop, next/prev chapter power on/off and I added a "Display" button to show info about the disc/title and bit rate (yes I have a Sony 7000 DVD).
Page 2 has a button to go to the DVD menu and also has a true up/down/left/right arrowns with an "OK" button in the center to funtion as the "enter" key.
