I paid list price for it - but was definately worth it to me... $400

Did not get the recharging station.
I think I will use rechargable NiMH batteries
like I use in my Digital Camera - nice long life.

Well, I guess they are available...I'm definitely checking with my distributor on Monday! Anyway, Aaron, try using Energizer Lithiom-Ion AA-size batteries...they last a very long time, and are awesome! I got over 1 yr. of constant use from my old remote.

Thanks so much for the information about the listening room! I have been dying to get my hands on one of these since the moment I heard about them.

I just got off the phone with The Listening Room and they still have a couple in stock. The good news is they were happy to ship it to me with a credit card order.

Take Care,

Will

Go luck with it! I told the guys at The Listening Room that I would post a message that they had it in stock... glad you were able to grab one.

Let me know your experiences when you receive yours. I already have mine pretty much set up with about 5 macros to make it easier to do a couple of tasks. I have to say I really LOVE the remote - not only is it functionally great, but the size and the way it feels in my hand is wonderful.

With the exception of wanting the ability to re-order template pages, I don't think I can say anything bad about it. I just hope they come out with the PC interfect soon so we can design our own templates!!!

Regards,
Aaron

I will definatly post my experiances with it, I know I am interested in hearing what other people think of it, especially any programming tips. :)

I am expecting mine tomorrow, and can hardly wait. I also wanted to pass on that The Learning Room is now sold out. They said that they should have more in about 2 weeks.

Take care,

Will

Which templates do you want to re-order, what page order did you want, and why?

In response to "Re: I GOT MY PRONTO!!!" by a helpful person on 02/11/98 18:24:32:

Well... For a few of my components, I liked to
use the last two template pages which are just empty buttons with no labels - the one with 4 smaller buttons on the top and 2-3 screen-width buttons underneath and the other template page which is the reverse of it.

Later I decided that it would be nice to add one of the lower-numbered pages template (for example, one with a numeric keypad on it for direct channel access).

Previously, I had deleted all buttons from the lower numbered template pages so that the last 2 pages would "show through" as the devices page 1 and 2. If I now go back and add the numeric keypad page (lets say its template page 3 in "label" and "learn" mode) as soon as I add the buttons from that page it automatically becomes page 1 for the device - and I assume this is because it's a lower numbered page in the template.

In this example I would have liked it to be page 3 for the device... So to summarize let me give you an example. Lets use a new device that has 8 template pages:

Page 1 = template page 7
Page 2 = template page 8
Page 3 = template page 3

Unfortunately the way it really works out (if I program some buttons from template page 3) is:

Page 1 = template page 3
Page 2 = template page 7
Page 3 = template page 8

So... it seems programmes template pages must appear in the same "order" as they appear in the template.

Hope this was a clear enough explanation :)
Like I said - we'de LOVE IT if you guys would plan on coming out with a cable/software combination that would allow us to program our own templates and order the pages accordingly! But as I said before... a WONDERFUL remote regardless!
