PC cables in the mail (got main unit on ebay for $15 shipped)

Planning on getting some codes to input into an Android app called SmartRemote (has a place to paste Pronto hex codes)

Anyhoo, is there software where I can learn buttons and display the codes on device?

Here's the about screen:

Please see the Classic Pronto files section and download ProntoEdit 4. Might also want to check out the Classic Pronto FAQ that talks about restrictions of lowest number COM port.

There is also a utility written by Daniel that enables 'Developer Mode' which allows you to see the IR code data. Have a search for this. Believe it is called ProntoIni or something like that. Been many years since I touched it.

Be sure to get the latest version:[Link: files.remotecentral.com], don't think you need developer mode to see IR codes in PE4. That's mostly about being able to mark a config as default or write-protected.
