I am pulling out my tsu 6000 from about 8 years ago and giving it a go again.

Also, is there any way to program via computer when there is no serial port available on my computer?
Would USB to serial work?

Thanks for ANY help

Back when "no serial port" was a new problem, I watched as people solved it. There was unanimous agreement that the Keyspan USA-19HS, also known as the Keyspan Serial Adaptor (they had only one model and probably still do) works in all circumstances. I've found that to be so except for occasional needs to futz with the entire system when doing a URC MX850, and frankly I think the remote is the problem there.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I've been using the IOGear GUC232A for a couple years... no problems with a wide variety of remotes.

Daniel, for future searches, you might want to update the FAQ with this model info.
