hi. I bought a TSU 6000 and when I begin to assign Brand To TV I get this message: " TV does not contain brand information.. -"
I guess I got this because the remote does not have the preinstalled Brand library as it should. Can some one please shed some light on this? And how it can be solved? I reset the remote but the problem persists
many thanks

In the folder where you installed ProntoEdit (download and install latest ProntoEdit4 on a 32 bit version of Windows), you should find a folder named Samples or something like that. The Default TSU6000 configuration can be found somewhere in this folder structure. That will contain what you need. If you don't have a PC cable, check out the FAQ as there is information there on how to build one or type of cable you need so you can go ebaying.
Note that the remote you are using has not been manufactured since I'd say around 2004 or 2005. Therefore, the database may not have many of the models available today. Don't sweat it though as there are many CCFs you can load and merge here to assemble a configuration and most manufacturers reuse the same codeset across devices of same type. Only the names on the remote buttons change as they may be assigned to different functions (IR codes) for different models.
