I aquired a TSU-6000 from a friend (with a ton of other stuff) that hasn't been used in at least 2 years but is in real good shape. I got a new battery pack for it and it seems to work. I know nothing about this thing and don't really care to, I am trying to sell it for her. My question is this. I am trying to REVERT back to factory default settings. I found the screen that has the REVERT icon but it is not lit up like the other icons, therefor it will not let me do anything. What am I missing here? It belonged to her boyfriend that was a home theater enthusiast but he passed away over 2 years ago. It still has all of his gear programmed into it. Thank you for any info. Carl

In order to get it to revert, you must make a change on the remote. Delete a button, add a button or whatever, then the revert button should be available.

Or, simply reinstall the firmware using ProntoEdit4 and choose not to save the current configuration. You can also download the sample config IIRC.
I also think that the FAQ may have some information on Revert capability.

Thank you both. It sounds like re-installing the firmware would be the best way to go because my son can't even figure it out. But, I am screwed there too because I now realize I'm missing the cable I would need to connect to the computer. What kind do I need and where could I get one and I'll do it!! Thank you again!

No, it will be simpler to change something than to buy a cable, install the software on your computer, and then change things.
Someone fix this if my details are wrong below --I've done all models of Pronto type beasts but might be off a bit as I haven't seen a 6000 in five years or so.
Open the same dropdown you opened to get to the page that showed you the revert button, but instead of selecting Setup, select Edit, or whatever looks like it will allow you to change things on that page.
You're looking for modifying buttons, and Delete or Delete a button function is the choice you want. Once you're there, delete a button function by choosing a button and pushing it. I think you'll be asked to verify if you want to delete, and if so, say yes.
That change should make the Revert button come to life.
