I have a Mitsubishi WD-73927 and it has 2 HDMI ports on the back which I cannot find discrete codes for. Does anyone have these codes? I was able to use the Discrete Codes in the files section for everything else but they don't have the HDMI ports listed there.

This CCF has every possible Mits code inside. Simply import it into the NG software.

Most of the codes are labelled. For those where the label is a number, those are the decimal function code numbers. Check all my inputs in the CCF. I think one of the HDMI inputs is accessed using MonLink in my CCF.

I just ordered a new WD62927 which also has 2 HDMI inputs. Were you successful in finding a discrete code?

I have a WD 62628, all discretes work for all inputs except there is not a discrete for HDMI-2. Anyone have one stashed away somewher and would like to share?

Function button 122 is for HDMI-2 input!!

So, good news. I talked with Mitsubishi Consumer Relations (949-830-8364) and they got me what I needed for both HDMI and other inputs on my new WD-65731 TV. Essentially you need to take the original Mits remote and hold down the power button until it blinks twice, then input 0,0,0,9,0. This puts the remote into direct access mode. Once in this mode, you can use the original Mits remote to provide the infrared codes for your learning remote, in my case the Harmony 880. In order to provide the learning code for the HDMI-1 input, you press the "Input" button (this does not send out a code but sets the remote up to send out the appropriate code) and then press the F1 button. For the HDMI-2 input, press the "Input" button and then the number 4 button. For a complete list of buttons for various inputs, let me know if you need them and I will publish them. To get your Mits remote out of direct access mode, press the Power button until it blinks twice again and then input 0,0,9,3,5.

Applicable Remote Controls and Televisions
This document applies to the full size television remote controls introduced in 2006. The inputs specified below apply to the TVs that included these remotes. If a model does not have the specified input, or there is no connection to the specified input, the TV will not respond to the direct access signal. The 731 series TVs have a PC DVI-I input, however these models do not respond to the PC DVI-I access signal.

Procedure to program the remote for special direct access functions:

1. Set the Device Select Switch at the top to the TV position.


2. Press and hold the POWER key until it flashes twice, then release the POWER key.


3. Enter in sequence the code number 0,0,0,9,0. The POWER key will flash twice after the first 0 and then flash twice again after the final 0 to confirm a successful code entry.

The following keys will change functions:
POWER - Power ON only.
STOP - Power OFF only.
PAUSE - AV RESET (resets audio and video adjustments).

INPUT followed by 2 - INPUT-2
INPUT followed by 3 - INPUT-3
INPUT followed by 4 - HDMI 2
INPUT followed by 5 - COMPONENT-1

IMPORTANT: When using this remote control as an original source remote control to program a "learning" remote control or Home Automation control system, the INPUT and FORMAT keys do not send signals. These buttons are simply used as a "switch" function to prepare the remote control to send the correct input or format signal when the number key or other specified key is pressed.

IMPORTANT: This remote control was included with TVs that had Auto Input Sensing. Direct access to inputs that have not been connected and added to the active input list is not possible.

Procedure to return the remote control to normal consumer functions:

1. Set the Device Select Switch at the top to the TV position.


2. Press and hold the POWER key until it flashes twice, then release the POWER key.


3. Enter in sequence the code number 0,0,9,3,5. The POWER key will flash twice after the first 0 and then flash twice again after the final 5 to confirm a successful code entry.

Another bit of good news:

The discrete code for changing to the PC DVI input DOES APPEAR TO WORK for the 731 series (at least it did for my WD-65731).

All codes above except HDMI 2 and maybe Component 3 should be in my CCF for MITS TVs in the Classic Pronto Files Section.
