Hello everyone! I just bought a used Yamaha RAV-2000 and I'm very anxious to start 'playing' with it, but at the same time, very overwhelmed with all the new information.
Can the files for Pronto TSU2000 be used for RAV-2000? I browsed the 'files archive' and there seems to be more files for TSU2000 than RAV-2000.
I would like to customize the display and to program it to control the following AV devices: TV- Pioneer 51F500 DVD-Panasonic XP-30 Receiver- Technics XP-30
Can someone recommend a good 'starter' ccf file that I could use?
thanks!

Yes, TSU 2000 ccfs are usuable in the RAV. However, the remotes internal databases of codes are different. So any 2000 ccf that uses database codes would have to have those codes learned in the RAV.
Sorry, I can't suggest a starter ccf, but most people would choose a ccf with graphics and a navigation system that they like, edit the ccf to accomodate their gear, and then learn their own codes.

ok, thanks Jim, I think I'm getting the hang of it now. I've downloaded RAVedit and will start to modify some ccf files. Maybe i'll post some more if I get stuck ;)
