Is there someway to set a button to auto return to the previous screen?

I want to make a light/fan menu that will be accessable from any device, and then put a 'return' button' to go back to whatever menu you were previously on.

Thx

Not on a Philips 1000/2000/6000 without duplicating the panel for each place you would like to access the fan functionality. However, on a Marantz RC5000/5000i/5200/9200, there's a feature call Jump Backward/Forward that can be used to accomplish the functionality you desire.

There's a tiny bit of a workaround you can use on the Pronto... put the lights/fan page on the Macro side of the remote, then when you're done instead of hitting a specific hard-programmed "back" button, tap the Device button at the top. This will take you back to the last device and page viewed before going to the Macro menu. This is as good as it gets...

Thanks for the speedy responses. I figured as much that since I couldn't find anything on it, it could not be done.

On that note, it looks like there is no way to cause a button to jump to the device menu on the top right either?

I guess I could make a page with all the devices, and have it go to that which would make it easy to go back to a specific device.

One final probably can't be done: I have a Hunter fan remote which sends 350MHz codes which 'fail' to learn. I'm guessing these are out of its range?

Do you mean an RF controlled fan? (not IR?).

The Pronto range cannot learn RF codes.
They have an RF extender but this simply codes the IR into RF for transmission. I believe there are a few devices that can be controlled by RF, but understand this is more by luck than design.

On your other question, there is no way to access the drop down device menu from a hard or soft button. Daniel's suggestion about using the macro side of the remote is a good one however. Many of us use this, and it works well.
