I have been out of the loop for almost 2 years while trying to loose weight and get healthy again(BTW, I lost 100lbs!!!), So I really don't know the answer. Can PCF files be used as CCF? Can I download a PCF from a tsu7000 for my tsu6000? Let the flame begin......

You can load a CCF into ProntoNGEdit resulting in a PCF. But you cannot do it the other way. However, you can copy and paste most IR Codes in both directions (which is the only sensible thing you would want to be able to do anyway)

And, as Peter notes in another thread nearby at this moment, not all codes found in a pcf will work in ccfs. I think it has to do with the newer remotes recognizing long codes and converting them into shorthand versions, which work on the new remotes (more than they used to), but won't be recognized as commands by the older remotes.

A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything. "The biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place." -- G. “Bernie” Shaw |
