I have just bought a used RC5000i, and yes, it was at a good price....

The right 1/8" of the screen does not work. I disassembled the thing, and decided that I could not see well enough what connectors might be involved, if that is what the problem were.

Anybody see this before and know of a solution?

Thanks.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

If it still works but just seems "dark" or "blotchy"... that seems to be the way those particular LCD screens get after some years. My TS-1000 started getting a bit funky around the edges when I retired it.

If several rows of pixels are solid on or missing... could be a connector problem, could be a screen problem, could be something more.
