Something's loose inside and it's quite annoying while moving the remote around. I removed the 2 screws in the battery compartment but more is needed to open it. I found some old removal info (presumably for a TS1000) mentioning a 3rd screw under the label but there is no such screw on the 6000. Any ideas?

I believe that the sound you are hearing is the ball bearing inside the pickup sensor moving around. However if you must open it you will need a torx T6 driver and since there are additional tabs holding the two halves together you will have to "pry" it apart. Searh for +replace +6000 +screen for the last year, that should give you detailed info.

Awesome, thanks. Yes, it's probably the pick up sensor, it gets noisy when I tilt the remote.

thanks!
