I have a TSU2000 that has I bought new approximately 2 years ago. The other day the screen started responding sporadically, osft buttons getting stuck in the on position, screen not responding at all, etc, but it still worked more often than not. Just the other day it finally quit responding at all. I have tried all of the usual fixes ie: tried leaving the batteries out over night, tried updateing the firmware. Tried downloading a new .ccf file, etc. and the screen still isnt working, you can wake it by pressing the backlight button, but none of the soft buttons will respond at all. My thinking is that the screen is shot, any other ideas. If not does anyone know where I can find a TSU2000 screen, I have been looking but have not been able to find any screens yet. ANy help would be greatly appreciated.

I know that there is a screen out there. Forgot where and what the exact model number is though. But I might have an idea on what might going on. With the problem discribed from you, you might have some dirt stuck under the edge of the screen. Best thing to do is to take the remote apart, and just clean the screen. Remember there are three screws for the case. All three are torx number 3 I beleive. Two are under the battery cover and one is under the sticker, which is to the right of the word "RESET"

Thanks for the advise Rob, unfortunately I already had that thought as well. The remote has been taken apart an the screen thourghouly cleaned, I even tried the remote with the case apart and the screen reacts the same way, still no response. If you happen to stumble across a place to pick up a new screen (for a reasonable price) drop me an e-mail at jbuckjratbuckeye-express.com.

You said you left the batteries out over night. Understood. but, have you tried a fresh set (I mean brand new) batteries? (Just try some regular alkalines) Sounds like a battery problem to me.

Yup tried old batteries, brand new batteries, flashing the firmware reinstalling the ccf, installing a new ccf, taking the unit apart and checking the cables to make sure they were secure and not damaged
