I have an old CHAD remote that finally has failed to reboot; it needs to be replaced. I have some extensive programming and macros on it that I'd like to reuse (the software is also stored on a disk). I also have a Pronto TS1000 that runs the same software.

Is this custom programming compatible with the TS-3000, the model I'm eyeing as a replacement? If changes are required, how extensive are they (generally)? I realize a lot may depend on what features were originally used.

I'm comfortable with programming, but haven't committed to learning Pronto software yet.

Thanks

If your Chad ccf works in the 1000, then you shouldn't have too many problems. The software for an NG remote (3000) has the ability to convert a ccf to an ncf. Still, you might want to ask this question in the NG forum for any additional specifics.

Jim, you actually meant "to a pcf".

See, I told him this wasn't the right forum. Peter's right, ncf's are for the Neo.
