For the life of me, I can't get this to work. I've recorded the IR signal a hundred times with no luck.

I've pulled the codes from this site, and still, nothing.

HELP!!!!!

A little more info might help. What Pronto model? If it's a 2000/1000 are you pointing the Marantz remote to the REAR of the Pronto?

Sorry, It's a Pronto 1000. I've been able to program everything else I want. Seems this one set of commands just doesn't work. I've only tried programming while the Pronto is hooked up to the computer and hitting the "learn" function through the editor. Would it make any difference to do it without the computer in the mix??

Yep, sure could. The computer can cause "timing" errors which may make learning unreliable. Learn on the remote, then upload to the computer.

WEll, got "on" to work. Now "off" is no go. I've tried 50 times to get a code that works, but no go.

Funny, the "On" code is huge; 15 lines?

The off is one line. Same one EVERY time.

15 lines sounds like a "dirty" code, but if it works ... Are you still trying to learn on the computer?

Try these
RC5x Discrete on :5001 0000 0000 0002 0010 000C 0001 0000 or
System: 16 Command: 12 Data: 01

RC5x Discrete off :5001 0000 0000 0002 0010 000C 0002 0000 or
System: 16 Command: 12 Data: 02

Well, here's what I have now. The "dirty" discrete "ON" code (which works). and, using the "device" on/off toggle set to "amp".

So what I did was build a macro that presses the discrete "ON" to make sure it's on first, then press the device on/off. That shuts the unit off.

Since "on" works, I don't need to test for "off".

I'll go with this since it works now. Some day, when I'm dored, I'll mess with it some more.

Thanks for all your help : )

Oh, and BomberJim:

No, I was entering the codes directly through "the rear" with the device's remote.
