Does anyone have any experience with the RF add-on for the Mark II? Does it work well or not? I assume it includes some sort of RF transceiver to convert RF back to IR near the source components? I also assume this device would only send IR and RF on a global basis, not on a per source basis, correct?

Where did you hear about this addon?
I can't find any reference on it on the marantz site.
Do you have any more info? like a model no?

I think we really need one of Daniel's excellent reviews on the Marantz MK2 :)

It will be excellent if Daniel can review and compare Mark II with pronto.

Joe -
I have not used the RF add-on, but I saw it when I bought my Mark I. It was at a very nice stereo shop in St Louis called Best Sound, (314) 997-7644. I do not know if they will ship, etc, but they will surely know the model number and other such info.
Hope it helps.

Greg,

I called the number below, but unfortunately they do not carry Marantz any longer. He did say that he thought it cost ~$100, but didn't know too much about it. Are there any others out there who have real life experience with this? Is it reliable? Thanks,

Joe
