I've set up my personal CCF to allow the use of two ReplayTV units in one home theater. The CCF supports ReplayTV 3000 or lower, and also the Panasonic Showstopper 2000 or lower. It also includes a macro sequence used to prepare the ReplayTV units to use separate IR code sets.

Neither the CCF nor the process permanently alters the ReplayTV units in any way. All you have to do to restore them to their factory settings is unplug them and then power them back up.

Anyway... if anyone is interested in this, let me know. It works very smoothly, and does not require switching the units on and off. Both units are active at the same time, and ignore the commands sent to the other unit.

Thanks,
Dale

Yes, I'd be interested in knowing what you're doing. Did you discover some new secret way of teaching them the code set to use? I have 3 Showstoppers and use the RC6 discreet codes. Every few weeks, they forget their remote unit codes and I have to reboot them and teach then their codes again.

BTW, it should work on a Showstopper 3000 also. Same as the others with a 60GB drive.

Thanks,
Dom

I'm doing the same thing you are. I just hadn't heard of anyone else setting up a CCF to do it. It sounds like you're one step ahead of me.

I have just added a second replay unit and am updating my Pronto. If you stiil have a copy of this ccf, I would like a copy. I checked the file area but did not see it listed.

Thanks in advance,
TH
