I have a bose LS 50 and can't get it to work. I have tried everything and Bose support don't help one bit. Anyone have this working on a TSU3000?

go to bluedo.com, I think the 50 is RF only, bluedo has a device that does IR to Bose RF

Anyone know the correct Bose codes so I can "properly" control SA Cable box # 2100 and the following TV's: Pioneer 5040 and Sony KDE50xbr950
It seems that the codes "suggested" by the AV48 system do not perform, or only allow limited functions.

Hey guys,
Here are the models that can be learned into a pronto remote. lifestyle 28, 38 , and 48. The Bose media receiver will blast an IR signal that can be learned by a Pronto. You have to select a button that you want to learn so that the media receiver can blast the corresponding signal. In order to be able to do this you must go into the settings menu and cursor over to IR control. The first selection says "learn IR". You select "yes". And then you can proceed to learn to your pronto.

Anyone: Im trying to get A new Misubishi HD TV RC to control a Bose LS35. Misubishi claims its work, and I think i have the Bose settings correct. I tryed using ir emitters and flashers, but no dice.

I wanted to give everyone an update on this, I know I am resurrecting an old thread. All Bose products can be controlled via an IR remote aside from the older waveradios, but the older LS systems just need one adaptor and you canthen use any remote. I have been using IR remotes on LS-50s for some time now, I only wish I saw this thread when it was origianlly posted, would ahve saved alot of hassle eh. If anyone has questions regarding this email me.

Hi Glen. I have a Bose Lifestyle 30 and just purchased a Sony RM-AV2500. Im reading all the threads about the Bose RF issue and see that Bluedo.com sells the C-1024 for translating IR to RF. Are there other tranlators or ways to accomplish this?

Yes, Bose sells the unit themselves, you can obtain a unit called the CS-1 from any Custom Bose retailer. If you can not find one let me know and I can sell you one, I have it instock.

I too am having difficulty programming my universal IR remote to work on the Bose system. As background I believe that I have a Lifestyles 28 system. I received the unit second hand so I do not have the manual and/or other items. The remote does not seem to work well, and must be directly in front and very near the Media Center display in order to work. There is a small black unit that plugs in, but I’m not sure where. Either into the “TV sensor” or the “IR emitter” slot. Neither seems to improve the remotes range. I thought that instead of replacing the remote at a cost of nearly $100.00, I would use my universal remote that came with my DVR to control at least the volume. That way I won’t have to get up and move to a position just in front of the unit just to change the volume, only to change more involving controls. I must just be missing a step. I have turned on both the “Send IR Commands” and “Receive IR Commands” options in the system setup screen. However, the remote never seems to pick up any “IR blast”, or whatnot, to program the correct codes. If perhaps you could email me back a description of what I need to do to either get the original Bose remote to work or to program the universal that would be great. This may be a naive question, but how do you "teach" or how does the Bose 321 system "learn" a code from my DVR remote?

No idea. Does the Bose Manual not tell you how to do so? This forum is usually targeted for use of the Philips Pronto Remote with other vendors equipment. Hopefully there will be someone on here who can answer your question. If not, I might suggest posting in the Custom Installer Lounge or contacting Bose directly.

I checked both Bose manual and Bose.com, no info in either.
