Well, I got mine delivered yesterday. Yes--delivered courtesy of U.S.P.S. on a Sunday! Bob at Avalon AV was a pleasure to deal with--certainly one of the best internet dealers. I paid $375 total for the Pronto because of the Sunday delivery, but I believe Bob charges $369 delivered ground. Check out http://www.avalonav.com or call Bob at 609-654-7752. I think he said that he has another shipment of Prontos coming in this week.

AVI electronics has the pronto for $299.The number is 1-800-349-8200.

Called AVI (by the way the number is actually 800-359-8200) - salesman said they do not handle any Philips products, including remotes. Who's right?

Just called AVI bcause I was concerned about my order. He said he has had several calls and my remote was shipped yesterday.First I asked him if he handles Philips products,he said no,then I asked him if he sold the Philips pronto and he said yes.I know one thing I'll be nervous till it gets in my hands.

Called again - talked to a different salesperson who verified that they did carry the Pronto. Bought it for $299 and the cradle for $90. Is to ship today.

Ouch, that's a pretty aggressive price.
Are they an auth. dealer? Any warranty/service
