I am planning to purchase One-for-all 8206 (2nd generation) remote control, I have read reviews for the first generation one and wondering if new remote eating batteries like the old one! Is any reviews for 8206 ? Thanks!

I've not tried one myself but I've heard that they are kinder to batteries, but they are still likely to use them up alot faster than a regular remote.

Thanks for reply, I have an option to purchase 8204 instead of 8206 but additionally get charger. Anyone used it ? Any complains ?

I've got an 8206 and a charger in the post. It seems pretty good on batteries. I've written a long review of the URC-8206 and the issue in using it on my web site: [Link: btinternet.com]
