Can anyone point me in the right direction to a chart or program that shows Numbers and what the Hexadecimal for that number would be?

Or the Formula to do it myself, been a while doing decimals :(

You can use the Windows calculator. Under View, choose the Scientific mode. Then enter the decimal number, and press the hexidecimal button and it will convert it.

But if you want to calculate
123 (hex) = 1 * 16 2 + 2 * 16 + 3 = 291 (dec)
456 (dec) =1C8 (hex)

456 / 16= 28 left 8, 28/16=1 left 12
in Hex A=10, B=11, C=12, D=13, E=14, F=15
1C8

Thanks for all the info! Is there a listing of all the letters or is that all there is?

Tring hard to find out how to edit the Neo's learned IR codes! Seems to not take well to repeating codes that the UTV web keyboard puts out..

that is all. We have symbols for all the numbers from 0 to 9, but hexadecimal needs 16 of them from 0-15 so I guess someone decided using the first 6 letters of the alphabet would be the most convenient.
